His research focuses on how the physical design of the healthcare setting impacts the delivery of healthcare itself. He is also a songwriter who works to empower disenfranchised groups of people and communities through helping them communicate their stories through original songs written together. Service is dedicated to a variety of initiatives, most notably community development. Chris is a long-standing member of the Board of Directors of Green Advantage®, a national, ANSI Accredited third party environmental certification program, and is Chair of the Woodburn School Redevelopment Commission with the City of Morgantown.
